Get to know the Social Paediatric centre

The Social Paediatric Centre began its work in spring 1991 and has been continuously expanding ever since.

If you are concerned about your child's development because it is associated with restrictions in everyday life, we will support you with comprehensive diagnostics, counselling and treatment. We will provide you with competent support and, if necessary, long-term care. We only offer outpatient appointments.

Self-image

We are a medically managed, multi-professional competence centre for the treatment of children and adolescents with chronic illnesses, developmental disorders and disabilities. Our actions serve the well-being and physical, mental and social health of our patients. We treat children, adolescents and their families with empathy, respect and appreciation and take their concerns seriously.

Goals and tasks

Our aim is to support children and young people in developing their best possible quality of life. To this end, various professional groups offer a wide range of diagnostics, counselling and therapy. We provide detailed, understandable information and involve parents in all decisions. We develop a support and treatment plan that takes into account the family's resources and social environment. We take into account the personal and cultural background and respect the personal sphere.

Our task is to provide high-quality care, taking into account the prevailing health policy framework. We act in a future-orientated manner and observe the principle of economic efficiency.

Management principles

Managers are role models who value and support the skills of their employees. Interactions with employees are characterised by honesty, transparency and trust. Managers involve employees in decision-making processes. Each individual is supported in their development opportunities and their endeavours for further education and training are encouraged.

Employees and resources

Our most important resources are the experience, knowledge and skills of our employees and their motivation. Every employee contributes to the image and overall success of the centre with their personal commitment. Open communication and constructive dialogue between all professional groups are essential prerequisites for our work. Our cooperation is characterised by tolerance, respect and appreciation.

Quality management

We strive for high quality in our organisation. Standards facilitate our work and ensure quality. Our co-operation is based on binding agreements and arrangements as well as a clear division of tasks. We reflect on our work in a continuous process and constantly develop our services in order to achieve a high level of family satisfaction.

Networking and co-operation

We co-operate in a network of various institutions and partners in order to provide a meaningful range of services for children, young people and parents. We are involved in regional health policy working groups and encourage political opinion-forming through professional support.

Our tried and tested approach

Determining the causes of an impairment and deriving a treatment plan are based on five pillars:

Bank transfer

The first step is a referral from the paediatrician or family doctor, who will recommend further diagnostics or treatment.

Online registration

You can then register your child quickly, securely and conveniently around the clock using our online form.

Previous history

We take a biographical history of the child, the family and the environmental conditions.

Investigation

An examination of all relevant physical, mental and emotional areas is carried out to diagnose the symptoms.

Resource analysis

We analyse the circumstances in which the child and their family live in order to provide targeted individual support.

Holistic view for targeted help

Multidimensional diagnostics as a basis

The findings are systematically documented and analysed as part of a multidimensional area diagnosis. The following aspects are taken into account:

Individualised support plan & strong networks

Based on the results of the diagnosis, an individualised support and treatment plan is drawn up together with the family. The type, purpose, scope and duration of the planned therapy are explained transparently. The plan is implemented in close cooperation with practising doctors, therapists and other institutions.
